Five Buildings

I made a handful of buildings, to add a little bit of character to villages and towns. Most of them were made with Sims 2 and lots of sweet custom content for same.

Regal Express Courier Service
When sending a letter via land caravan just isn’t fast enough, you can count on Regal Express to get it there on time. Regal Express employs tamed gryphons for their “air mail” packages, which start at 10gp for anything weighing up to 10lbs. Gryphons are fed on rabbits raised on the premises. While they would naturally prefer larger game, rabbits are more readily renewable than horses or cows. The hatchery is kept under strictest security to deter would-be egg thieves.

The Blue Boar Inn
Every town needs at least one good inn, right? Well the Blue Boar is one of the best.

The rooms at the Blue Boar consist of three comfortable double-occupancy rooms, and two bunkhouse rooms, one for men and one for women. Each room has its own wood-burning stove, plus the upstairs hallway has an additional fireplace for extra chilly nights. The main pub features a raised stage for performances and an ample dance floor.

The Royal Library
I based the interior of the Royal Library on photos of Oxford University’s Bodlean library. After all, if you do a Google image search for “medieval library” that’s what you’re going to see the most. The Royal Library has a policy that all people who enter the city must surrender any books they’re carrying long enough for the library scribes to make copies of them. Books are then returned to the owner. Access to the library cannot be obtained without a library card, which one gets only after making a geas-level pledge to not steal or damage any of the books, and to keep all sources of open flame out of the library.

Upper-middle class home
upper_middleclasshome.jpg
This multi-room comfortable home would be inhabited by an individual or couple of well-to-do means, such as a master artisan or successful merchant. (“Good” upkeep)

Middle-class/freeman home

This home has a packed-earth floor, three good-sized rooms, and of course an outdoor privy. It would be a good home for an individual or couple of comfortable but not outstanding means (what the DMG would call “common” upkeep I suppose).

So there you have it. Use them well and enjoy. Soon I hope to have a few more buildings but until then, I hope these prove useful in your campaigns.
